CONDENSED FORGING*: Using softer steels enhances ZXi feel. But strength matters, too. To deliver both, we use Condensed Forging. Here's how it works:

The hydraulic dies which forge red-hot billets into ZXi Irons imprint an array of raised features onto each rough Iron shape. A second forge condenses those protrusions back into the clubhead, placing strength in those precise locations without sacrificing overall feel.

HEAT SOFTENING: Because Condensed Forging adds localized strength right where we need it, we have the freedom to re-optimize the temperature of our heat-treating ovens and produce our softest treatments yet.
