Left Handed Kids Golf Clubs for Ages 2-5
At AllKidsGolfClubs we carry left handed toddler golf clubs for children between the ages of 2 and 5 years old with a height range of 28 to 44 inches tall. If your child is at the top of the height range in the golf clubs that you've selected, we recommend bumping up to the next size clubs, which would be our left handed kids golf clubs ages 5-8 (height of 38-48 inches). Please only use age as a general guideline. We provide a recommended height range on every set and individual club that we offer, which can be found in each product title for ease of shopping. One thing we do suggest you do, is set your child up with the proper apparel. Golf is an athletic sport and if your toddler is wearing clothes that restrict his movement, his performance will suffer. We have a full selection of Toddler Golf Clothes for the littlest of golfers.
Should I Teach My Left Handed Child to Play Golf Left Handed?
If you or your child is left handed, you might have heard at some point that you should teach him to play right handed. Many courses are designed for right handed golfers (dog legs and bunker positions) and right handed golf clubs are easier to find. However, in most cases, AllKidsGolfClubs.com recommends that you teach your left handed child to golf left handed. In the vast majority of cases, your child will golf better when using his dominant hand.
It will be easier to learn and more enjoyable for your child. If you want to verify which hand your child prefers to golf with, hand them a stick and see how he holds it and stands when swinging it. If you try and teach a left handed toddler to golf right handed, he is likely to get quickly discouraged because of a lack of success in making good contact with the ball. Making golf fun is the most important aspect of teaching a toddler to golf, so seeing immediate success will go a long way in learning to love the game of golf.
