Specific Differences Between the Strata Pink, Strata Blue and Strata Purple Sets

Strata Pink 7 Club Set: 7, 9, PW Irons are stainless steel irons designed for forgiveness and control.

Strata Plus Blue Set: 6-PW Irons have perimeter weighting plus progressive sole width technology. The 5 Wood is 1” shorter than the 5 Wood in the Pink Set, and the SW is ½” longer than the SW in the Pink Set.

Strata Ultimate Purple Set:

• Driver has 1.5° higher loft than Drivers in the Pink and Blue Sets
• 5 Hybrid has 1° less loft than the Pink or Blue 5 Hybrids
• 7 Iron has 2° more loft than Pink or Blue 7 Irons
• 8 Iron has 2° more loft than the Blue 8 Iron
• 9 Iron has 2° more loft than the Pink or Blue 9 Irons
• PW and SW have 2° more loft than the Pink or Blue PW’s and SW’s

The Pink and Blue Sets are more closely related to each other than either is to the Ultimate Purple Set.

The Ultimate Purple Set is not simply a transition set for older or taller junior girls because the lengths are all the same.

Purple Strata Ultimate - Easiest Overall 

• Not because this set has some magical face technology - the big advantage is the combination of forgiving cavity-back construction + weaker lofts + the High Flight design.

For example, asking a beginner to launch a: 34° 7 is inherently friendlier than asking the same golfer to  launch a: 32° 7i, particularly at women's swing speeds. Also, the Ultimate avoids a bigger problem at the long end by using: 22° 4H → 25° 5H → 30° 6i instead of forcing the golfer into very low-lofted irons. 

Blue Womens Strata Plus - very close second

• The progressive sole width and perimeter weighting are legitimate game-improvement features. 

In fact, on a pure forgiveness-on-mishits basis, we wouldn't confidently say the Ultimate iron is superior to the Plus without robot testing or MOI numbers. The Plus may be every bit as forgiving across the face.
