AllKidsGolfClubs Expert Opinion: For Competitive Game Improvement Golfers: This 7 club set by Mizuno is a great set for kids who are taking the game seriously, who is gaining consistency in his shot but is looking to see improvements in distance. The driver is still higher lofted than an adult driver, but at 16 degrees your child will see longer distances than with drivers of similar length from other brands. The 7 iron is also stronger lofted and longer than other Brands so it too will result in more distance and will play more like a longer iron. The 9 iron at 44 degrees will play more like a pitching wedge. This set is most similar to the Cleveland CGJ 7 Club Set for Ages 10-12, but this Mizuno set is for a more competitive golfer. Graphite shafts on all the clubs make this a great set for a child who has grown taller earlier and is still building strength.
